Byron Turner has been in the information technology field for over 15 years and in IT and asset Management for 9. He has managed IT helpdesks, call centers, and deskside support groups in Georgia, New York, Maryland, Arizona and Virginia.
Over the years, Byron has obtained certifications in ITIL Foundations 4 and a Scrum Master Certification with the Scrum Alliance. He attended Morgan State University in Baltimore Maryland for Mass Communications and is currently completing a dual Bachelors/ Master of Business Administration in Information Technology Management from Western Governors University.
In his current role with Fairfax University of America, Byron supervises the day-to-day operations of the IT help desk as well as oversees the hybrid classroom support for the students and professors at the University.
In his free time Byron enjoys NFL and College Football, mentoring children with his Fraternity and traveling domestically and internationally whenever possible.
