Course Description:
This course is designed to equip Title IX Coordinator and Deputy Title IX Coordinators with the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively manage and oversee institutional compliance with Title IX regulations. Participants will explore key topics such as the scope of Title IX, understanding sexual harassment and misconduct, reporting obligations, investigations, and grievance procedures.
Title IX Coordinator Training: The Clery Act:
Course Description:
This course is designed for Title IX Coordinators, faculty, staff, and campus security personnel to understand their roles and responsibilities under the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act (Clery Act). Participants will learn about the key requirements of the Clery Act, including the importance of timely reporting of crimes, the necessity of maintaining accurate crime statistics, crime statistics reporting requirements, and the obligations surrounding campus safety policies.
